Commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day
Organizing, leading, and executing the 80th anniversary of D-Day for the French Consulate in New York City was an extraordinary opportunity where I was entrusted to manage complex logistics while navigating the delicate dance of two countries’ diplomatic protocols.
I’m honored to have worked with some WW II and Vietnam veterans, the French and British U.N representatives as well as every branch of the U.S. military to pull out this event a truly international tribute to the ones who sacrificed their lives for freedom.
With my husband serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, this project is my declaration to the country welcoming me as a proud French immigrant.
